Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) may experience some delays in the development of basic gross motor skills. In addition to developmental delays, most children have low muscle tone, delayed motor skills, and difficulty with motor coordination. These issues can interfere with basic day-to-day function and may interfere with physical and social development.
