Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) may experience some delays in the development of basic fine motor skills. Occupational Therapists (OTs) work to develop skills related to handwriting, fine motor skills, and daily living skills.
We see OT as a main way of intervention, and it’s a critical first step if we’re going to modify their behavior into a positive one.
Our therapists assess your children’s current developmental levels and work with them to help them better regulate their emotions and communicate with others.
